Hi there, I’m Julian Woodcock the Managing Director of Viking Mines.
I’m here to share some exciting news from our recent drilling at the Canegrass
Battery Minerals Project in WA.
We recently completed 6 drill holes for 543m of drilling and we’ve just got our first assays
through from two of those holes which are at the Kinks South target, which is the vanadium target which we tested.
One of the hole specifically got a shallow high grade intercept of 19m at 0.61% vanadium
pentoxide and deeper down the hole an even higher grade intercept of 12m
at 1.06% Vanadium pentoxide as part of a wider intercept of 17m at 0.98% vanadium pentoxide.
The grades of intersected are directly comparable to peer company projects in the region.
I firmly believe that with these results we have the opportunity to grow a substantial vanadium resource which will rival other projects.
These results came from the Kinks South target, which is outside of the existing resource and is showing much higher grades than drilled previously.
With this, I believe we have the opportunity to substantially increase the average grade at Canegrass.
I look forward to being able to update the market with our ongoing activities, which include a planned drilling program due to take place later in the June quarter.
With 5500m of drilling, I believe we will substantially increase the resource potential at Canegrass.
