Matador Mining is an exploration company with a project based in Canada.
Our exploration team is based in Newfoundland and a Managing Director, Sam Pazuki, based in Toronto.
Our focus is on gold exploration from early stage through to food and development.
All of our projects, at the moment, are our greenfields exploration projects, gold focus with opportunities in copper as well.
We’ve got large scale regional projects, and they’re very underexplored terrain in one of the premier mining districts in the world in Newfoundland.
Very excited about what’s going on. We’ve spent the, the last 12 months on a lot of greenfield’s exploration activities, on the ground doing prospecting, mapping, traditional Canadian exploration sort of methodologies, and we’re managing that and merging that with Australian technology and knowhow in geophysics and geochemistry and interpretation as well.
The project that going forward for the next 12 months is we’ve just come off the back of a winter drilling program where we’ve had an RC rig on the island for the first time in 20 years.
So using traditional Australian techniques again, and we’re going marry that with, with diamond drilling in the coming season, the summer season in the north, hoping to make world class gold discoveries of a scale which is able to be developed.
That scale is sort of one to 2 million ounce minimum, and that’s the target size that we’re looking for.
We’ve got a great team on the island with experienced geologists from both Canada and Australia, and we’re well financed to fund an exploration program in this, this coming season.
Stay tuned for results.
Stay tuned for the discoveries that we are sure we’re gonna make over the next 12 months.
