Hi, Matthew Keane from Great Southern Mining.
Very happy to announce this morning that we’ve started drilling at our East Laverton Project in Western Australia.
We’re targeting nickel sulphides or nickel copper platinum group elements in sulphides.
This is really the first drilling campaign for this project.
So first of all, we’re going to target some EM plates which are within a large, intrusive complex.
So searching a number of different styles here but effectively nickel, copper, PGE are the target elements.
For this, this is stage one of a multi-stage program that we’re going to take on this project.
The second stage for us is going to be targeting more traditional komatiitic style hosted nickel, as you see down the Kambalda region.
This will commence with EM early in the New Year.
