Hi, my name is Jardee Kininmonth, and I’m the CEO and Managing Director of Future Metals.
I’m really excited to announce today a new mineral resource estimate.
It’s 129 million tonnes grading at 1.66 grams per tonnes palladium equivalent for a total contained resource of 6.9 Moz in the ground.
And this makes it the second largest PGM deposit in Australia after Chalice’s Gonneville deposit.
The resource comprises a significant and discreet highgrade zone of 25 million tonnes PGM for a total contained resource of 2.9 million ounces, as well as a near surface bulk mineralization resource that contains 2.1million ounces and 239,000 tonnes of nickel.
Importantly, the resource provides the company with significant optionality in assessing the optimal pathway forward for developing Panton.
This includes looking at underground and open pit development scenarios, a combination of both and in various stages.
