Firetail Resources (ASX: FTL) – Company Announcement with Brett Grosvenor

6 June 2024VideosASX:FTL, Client Videos, Interview

Transcript

We announced the acquisition of the York Harbour Copper Zinc Silver Project, and this is an exciting next step for Firetail.

You know, strategically, we had a win on our journey, last year, and we bolstered our copper projects with the acquisition of Peru, which we’ve seen some great success and there we believe there’s even more to come.

But the York Harbour project is an existing mine, its had a couple of hundred thousand ounces mined in the historic 19 early 19 hundreds.

It’s had some crazy hits.

Recently in the 21/22 drill campaign, we’ve seen 29 meters at nearly 5%.

It’s in a great jurisdiction.

We are just down the road from another success story Firefly as well, you know, and we hope to replicate what they’ve done.

And Newfoundland is a great jurisdiction to operate in.

And, yeah, we’re really excited to get on the ground, fly some Airborne em, which has never been done.

You know, even in the due diligence period, we’ve identified nearly 16 kilometers of strike and it’s never really been looked at.

So we’re looking forward to working with York and partnering and really delivering some great value as we go forward into the back half of 2024.
