Michael Scantlebury: So US markets were slightly down last night. Key concerns around the inflation data and the US debt ceiling keeping the markets concerned. So expecting the Australian market to open softly this morning. Yeah, the gold price is up slightly overnight, so expecting some good moves in the gold price and gold stocks today as well.
Presentations yesterday were carrying on from the battery theme, so Talga Resources and Leo Lithium had some strong attention.
Lots of activity around it on the first day of the conference. As you’d expect. We’re expecting a strong second day as well with the crowd already building here at the RIU Conference.
