Michael Scantlebury: My name is Michael Scantlebury, Senior resource analyst at Euros Harley. The markets overnight relatively flat. The ASX futures are looking pretty similar as well. Oil price was up just over 2%, so that should be positive for the energy space base. Metal prices were relatively flat, with gold price up slightly as well. We’re excited for the next few days for the conference, which should be pretty exciting.
The keynote address we’ll be touching on is the large macro trends facing the resource sector and just the amount of investment that needs to go into the space just to support that energy transition in the mining cycle. And we’re looking forward to the next three days, which should be really exciting.
