Brendan Cummins, Managing Director of Black Canyon, here at the Sydney RIU Resources roundup.
It’s been a busy 12 months of Black Canyon since we were here last.
We’ve managed to drill out substantial manganese resources in the Pilbara.
We are now the largest, manganese deposits in WA, and second largest in Australia.
We’re also working really hard on our metallurgical test work to produce manganese concentrations for the steel industry, and in addition, the downstream processing to for manganese sulfate.
So a lot of action is going on, and thankfully, the last month has seen a substantial increase in the manganese price.
It’s been up 34% because 15% of manganese has now come out of global production with the suspension of their Groote Eylandt operations.
So things are on the upper manganese, and if you like any more information on our company or our projects or what we’re up to, please go to the socials and also go to our website.
