Hi there.
We’re at RIU Resources Roundup in Sydney.
My name’s David Riekie.
I’m actually the Executive Director of Avara Resources.
We’ve had a busy couple of weeks. People that have been watching our announcements would realise that we’ve expanded our footprint rather substantially over that period of time.
We’re talking about our very prospective portfolio of uranium in South Australia.
We started off with an area of approximately 1600 square kilometers with two very strategic acquisitions.
We’ve undertaken an expansion of that by about a thousand square kilometers. And the beauty of that is that we’ve actually got a situation where we’ve got some greenfields opportunities. We’ve also got some brownfields opportunities, and with those Brownfields opportunity come results. So we’ve been able to use that as an opportunity to point towards where we see some value emerging over the very recent future.
So we dovetail into that.
We’ve actually been doing a lot of work around this area called Mundowdna.
Mundowdna was some ground that we pegged early on in the piece and we just run some gravity surveys over that.
Now that’s actually feeding from some of the information that we’ve had that was open file with the South Australian government.
We going to use that and say, okay, these are the palaeochannels, those palaeochannels needed. We need to work, work out where the best bits are of them. Use the gravity to overlay that. Those results will be coming out very shortly.
But the key thing really is that we’ve actually done some very clever soils over it so that soil information will work out where the best bits are in those channels that we’re defining.
So we tend to send that information off into tech.
Now that information’s gonna be coming out pretty shortly, like about four weeks.
So when we’ve got that, we’re actually gonna be laying all of the information up to find out where the best bits are in this portfolio.
So we’ve got a pretty good website. We’ve got a good presentation. So the information is there. Uranium is where we are focusing our attention at the moment.
Because we think that we’re gonna be best rewarded for that good ground holding, tier one jurisdiction results from our activities.
So we think we’re well positioned and I think like every person that should be in my role should be saying we’re undervalued. And we certainly are. We’re funded.
We’ve got opportunities that are gonna show some outcomes and potential pretty quickly.
